Brief personal/professional description: After college, I spent five years working for the Spokane Indians baseball team and Spokane Chiefs hockey club. I then moved to Seattle to work for the Seattle Mariners in their baseball department for 13 years. I’ve spent the last three years working for the University of Washington athletic department.

At EWU, I am responsible for guiding our student-athletes through their academic careers (i.e., study hall, tutoring sessions, teaching a life-skills class), as well as monitoring their degree progress.

Favorite book: Long Walk to Freedom – Nelson Mandela

Favorite movie: The Breakfast Club. Yes, I still love the 80s

Favorite restaurant: Any place that I am not buying.

Favorite vacation: Hawaii with my family.

If I could do anything today, I would: Play golf at Pebble Beach.
