Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that Neil Woolf, Ed.D., has been selected as the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management.  Dr. Woolf  is presently serving as the Director of Enrollment Services at Nevada State College.  Dr. Woolf grew up in Spokane and is a proud Eastern alum (BA in Government).  He holds a Masters in Public Administration from University of Utah and an Ed.D. in Education Leadership-Higher Education Administration from University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

In addition to his responsibilities as the senior enrollment executive at NSC, Dr. Woolf has prior leadership experience as Director of Financial Aid and Student Employment, as well as the Senior Research Analyst for the Nevada System of Higher Education.  He has worked with new student programs, GEAR UP, statewide diversity initiatives, international programs, grant administration, transfer agreements,  policy development/implementation, and accreditation/assessment/audit activities in higher education.   He has experience leading effective and collaborative Strategic Enrollment Management processes, and is committed to fostering outstanding customer service in a student-centered environment.

Dr. Woolf is excited to be returning to home.  He will assume his new duties August 30, 2013.

Between now and then, Erin Morgan will continue to oversee the Enrollment Services portfolio.  I am indebted to her for her excellent stewardship in this position.

I would like to thank the members of the search committee for their swift and thoughtful efforts in managing the search and ensuring an equitable and open process that enabled us to gain insight into all our candidates.  I believe we have made an excellent decision, and I am grateful for their counsel in this process.  Members of the search committee are:  Amy Johnson (chair), Boubacar Bouare, Greg Crary, Bruce DeFrates, Nicole Devon, Toni Habegger, Christina Torres Garcia, and Linda Kieffer.  They were excellently supported by Kim Davis and Beth Baker.

Please join me in welcoming Neil back to EWU.

Best,

Stacey Morgan Foster, J.D.
