myEWU Portal has been available to students, faculty and staff for the past few months. To access the portal, go to the EWU website at www.ewu.edu and click the myEWU link in the upper right hand area of the site. Over the next year, we will be moving forward with new features and functionality, including mobile application theming and integration with Office 365. STAY TUNED!
We’re excited to provide the EWU community with the first glimpse of our new university portal. We want to take this opportunity to answer a few questions about the portal:
What is the myEWU Portal?
The web portal is an interactive web site that provides single sign-on access to different EWU information and services in a consistent “look and feel” to our campus community members —basically a “one-stop shop”!
Why isn’t there much (or any) information for me?
The only way for us to effectively implement system as vast and complex as a portal was to take a “Start small and grow” approach, and we started with current students and a limited number of services. We will be adding new roles (faculty, staff, etc.) and services throughout the summer, so keep checking back with us.
What is a Beta?
The myEWU Portal Beta is an early-release version of our portal system available to the Campus community to evaluate and test. A lot of stuff works, but we expect that there will be issues with a some of the features some of the time. If you find a problem, please let us know and then use the normal approach for connecting to EagleNET, Banner INB, etc.
What if I see a problem?
Too bad! (j/k) Please check the known errors posted in the portal – if you don’t see it listed, please send the problem or error to firstname.lastname@example.org. Make sure we get your contact information so that we can follow up with you!
What if I have a question, make a comment or a suggestion, or just learn more about the portal?
Please go here http://sites.ewu.edu/ewu-portal-project/2011/12/08/portal-survey/ and tell us what you think, ask questions, etc. You can also take the survey in this blog to suggest new content or services.

The EWU Portal Steering Committee was formed the 1st week of November. Comprised of representatives from across the EWU campus, the Portal Steering Committee will review and approve all portal project requirements, as well as monitor the project status and provide oversight of the project deliverable rollout.
