Governance Structure

The EWU Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors with business, civic and legal expertise, a majority of whom are EWU alumni.  Representatives from the EWU Board of Trustees, Alumni Association and University leadership also serve in varied capacities. Directors are selected via the Foundation’s Committee on Directors and approved by the full Board of Directors annually.  Directors serve up to three 3-year terms and annually sign a copy of the Conflict of Interest statement.  The Board of Directors meet a minimum of four times per year with the varied committees meeting 3-4 times per year.  The EWU Foundation employs the practice of a strong working-committee structure as noted below.
