Is this a student only contest or can staff and faculty join in? (I’m an SF&F fan from WAY back who has been doing recreational writing for years.)

Are there two Kindle Fires? One for the undergrad and one for the grad winner?
YES! We have two Kindle Fires; one for the winning undergraduate, and one for the winning graduate!
What time is the paper due by on the 20th?
Deadline is 5 pm on Wednesday, March 20th.
