General Education Core Requirements – Social Science List 2: PSYC 201, PSYC 100, SOCI 101 (apply when transferred)

Cultural and Gender Diversity: EDUC 325 – completed as a major requirement

International Studies: 4 to 5 upper division credits (CMST 440 is recommended)

180 Credit Requirement: in order to meet the total number of credits required for the BA degree

• 90 credits are awarded in transfer
• 90 credits are earned at EWU

Upper Division Requirement: Additional upper division credits may be required beyond those in the major.

A block of lower division credits (CDST AWCR) are awarded for Early Childhood Education courses taken at the community college.

• Up to 50 Early Childhood Education credits may be awarded (maximum of 90 transferable credits)
• At a minimum students are to complete the following at the community college:
  • Competencies & Proficiencies - 15 credits (English and Mathematics)
  • General Education Core Requirements – 25 credits
  • ECE Program
