Degree: Associate of Applied Science

Cultural and Gender Diversity: 4 to 5 upper division credits (CMST 340 is recommended)

  • SFCC – CMST 227 (SPCH 220)

International Studies: TECH 393 – completed as a major requirement

180 Credit Requirement: in order to meet the total number of credits required for the BA degree

  • 90 credits are awarded in transfer
  • 90 credits are earned at EWU
    • This program requires the completion of a minor.

Upper Division Requirement: Additional upper division credits may be required beyond those in the major.

A block of lower division credits (DESN AWCR) are awarded for Graphic Design courses taken at the community college.

  • Up to 60 Graphic Design credits may be awarded (maximum of 90 transferable credits)
  • At a minimum students are to complete the following at the community college:
    • Competencies & Proficiencies – 15 credits (English and Mathematics)
    • General Education Core Requirements - 10 credits
    • Cultural and Gender Diversity – 5 credits
    • Graphic Design Program
