Transgender Day of Remembrance (followed by a Panel Discussion)

Join the EWU Pride Center and Eagle Pride LGBTQA Student Club as we recognize Transgender Day of Remembrance. The purpose of Transgender Day of Remembrance, which will officially be celebrated on Nov. 20, is to raise public awareness about the hate crimes against Transgender people, to publicly mourn and honor the lives of Transgender men and women who might otherwise be forgotten, and to give Transgender allies a chance to step forward and express their support. The program will be followed by a panel discussion and time for questions from the audience.
