Naked Lunch Break (NLB) is a lunchtime literary open mic and reading series now in its second season at Riverpoint. It happens every Thursday beginning January 10, runs for ten weeks, and features acclaimed local writers plus an open mic for anyone who’d like to sign up.
Ready to take the plunge? Bring up to three minutes of poetry, fiction, or non-fiction to share, or just sit back and enjoy. Did we mention there’s free pizza? First come, first serve! Sign up begins at 11:30 am in the Phase 1 Auditorium. Pizza arrives shortly thereafter. Readings begin at noon.
This year’s featured readers include Jonathan Johnson, Christopher Howell, Rachel Toor, Gregory Spatz, and Samuel Ligon. Sponsored by EWU Libraries and Riverpoint Campus Library. Free and open to the public. For more information, contact Jonathan Potter at 368-6557, firstname.lastname@example.org, or check out the NLB Facebook page at http://facebook.com/riverpointopenmic.
