Celebrating its 20th year of promoting outstanding student and faculty collaboration and academic accomplishments, Eastern Washington University’s Student Research and Creative Works Symposium is welcoming abstract submissions March 6 – April 7.
This year’s EWU Symposium will be held May 16-17 on the Cheney campus. It is the largest, campuswide academic event at EWU. The event showcases projects completed by undergraduate and graduate students after months of preparation with their faculty mentors. To help prepare for abstract submission, the EWU Writers’ Center will offer writing and abstract workshops in the JFK Library Learning Commons on the following days:
- March 8, 2-3 p.m.
- March 14, 1-2 p.m.
- April 5, 2-3 p.m. (abstract polishing session)
The symposium gives participants the chance to present this research or creative work via oral/poster presentation, interactive exhibit, or artistic display-in a formal, professional setting. Students, faculty and staff from various disciplines present their innovative, dynamic research and creative work to the university and general public.
