Brief personal/professional description: I obtained a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. I started my graduate training interested in studying aggression and completed my dissertation project in that area. However, during my graduate program, I became interested in studying brain-behavior relationships and changed my focus to the area of neuropsychology. I completed my internship at City of Hope Medical Center, which is a research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes, and other serious diseases; I completed my post-doctorate work at Washington State University and researched the time it takes to recover from a traumatic brain injury.
