Join EWU faculty and local law enforcement agencies to investigate behind the scenes of law enforcement. Kids learn about CPR certification, K-9 units, crime scene investigation, combat and more. Also includes a tour of the Spokane County Courthouse, and a mock trial.
The Jr. Law Enforcement Camp is held on the campus of Eastern Washington University and offers campers an exciting in-depth look at the many and varied careers in the law enforcement field as well as a glimpse in to campus life. The camp is coordinated and supervised by hand-picked EWU students and staff who have committed themselves to providing an exceptional experience for our campers.
Programs include once in a lifetime demonstrations by emergency response teams, bomb squads, canine teams as well as those in the legal and judicial field. Campers participate in recreational activities, make new friends and leave with a better understanding of the endless career options available in the law enforcement field.
Campers conduct their own crime scene investigations, hear from defense attorneys, judges and other experts in the criminal justice field and watch exciting police demonstrations during the five-day camp.
