A crowd of students, faculty and staff gathered on Eastern Washington University’s campus Friday, Oct. 26, eagerly awaiting the cutting of a ribbon that would allow them a glimpse inside the newly renovated Pence Union Building.
“This building is a shining example of the power of the eagle family when we come together to make something happen,” said Dean of Students Amy Johnson.
Following the ceremonial ribbon cutting, the PUB remained open to the public until 4 p.m., giving individuals the opportunity to test the new dining options and check out some of the amenities offered.
