Eastern’s Master of Public Health Program, alongside the Washington State Department of Health and Spokane Regional health, invite the public to participate in this year’s Public Health Grand Rounds, a series of presentations focused on public health issues within Washington State.
Renee Fullerton, workforce programs manager for the Washington State Department of Regional Health, will be presenting Healthcare Workforce Shortages on Friday, Jan. 11 from 4-5 p.m. in the Nursing Building, SNRS 105 at the EWU Spokane campus.
Focused on health workforce shortages in rural communities, Fullerton’s presentation highlights the lack of medical care providers when it comes to primary care, mental health and oral health in the state of Washington.
