100 Women Strong Event to Celebrate Women in STEM

The College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (CSTEM) at Eastern Washington University, in partnership with the EWU Office of Diversity and Inclusion, is pleased to begin the academic year with an engaging, virtual event as part of our 100 Women Strong initiative.

100 Women Strong aims to recruit, retain and graduate women in engineering and computer science. Current students, new students, faculty, and the entire EWU community are invited to this webinar to celebrate women in STEM, and hear how women alumni working in STEM fields can help mentor current women students interested in pursuing similar careers.

To offer inspiration to aspiring women leaders in STEM, Stephanie Adams, PhD, dean of the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering at the University of Texas, Dallas, will deliver the keynote address. Adams has worked with a number of colleges and universities, government agencies and non-profit organizations on topics related to graduate education, mentoring, faculty development, and diversifying STEM.
