Discussion – Dissection

In a biology lab, students are expected to dissect a frog, label, and display its major organs in order to gain a hands-on understanding of amphibian anatomy. John has limited mobility and hand function, souvenirs of an injury inflicted during his military service. He lacks the manual dexterity to dissect the frog. How might the assignment be modified so that John can fully participate, and achieve the desired learning outcomes, without actually performing the dissection?
