Honors are calculated only on college-level credits earned at this institution.
The following designations apply:
Graduating seniors with a GPA between
3.5 and 3.69 = Cum laude
3.7 and 3.89 = Magna cum laude
3.9 and 4.0 = Summa cum laude
Those graduates receiving a bachelor’s degree can be eligible to wear an honor cord during the commencement ceremony. Honor cords are available for purchase through the EWU Eagle Store on the Cheney campus.
