1-22-04 EWU police received information of a suspiciousperson in the book store in the pub who might have beenshoplifting. Nothing was seen, just strange behavior. The suspectwas gone upon the arrival of the police and no one was able toidentify the individual.
1-22-04 EWU police responded to a possible liquor violationin Streeter Hall. The police contacted one male who was given acriminal citation for furnishing alcohol to minors and five writtenwarnings for MIP were given to the other individuals in theroom.
1-23-04 Traffic stop on 1400 Washington resulted in anarrest for driving with a suspended license in the third degree.The suspect was cited and released.
1-23-04 EWU police responded to a liquor violation in PearceHall. Four warnings for MIP and two citations for MIP’s weregiven.
1-24-04 Traffic stop on 1000 Elm St. resulted in an arrestfor driving with a suspended license in the third degree and alsocited for doing 31 mph in a 20 mph zone.
1-25-04 EWU police assisted the Cheney police in a DomesticViolence that was in progress. No assault took place and the malewas transported to Zip’s. The situation was cleared withoutincident.
1-25-04 EWU police assisted the Cheney police to return tothe Domestic Violence call. The male had returned to the home afterthe Cheney police had advised him he could not return. Suspect goneon arrival.
1-25-04 Medical call was made to Sixth and First. There wasan individual having an anxiety attack. Medics were able to talkthe individual down and the individual took their medication andwas transferred to their personal doctor.
1-25-04 EWU police assisted Cheney police in a possibletheft of a snowblower from EWU property. The individual told policehe left it by Showalter, and it had disappeared when he went to getit. Turns out the individual’s girlfriend called and told himthat she had it and would not give it back.
1-26-04 EWU police assisted the Cheney police for back-up inthe Safeway parking lot for taking in two vehicle prowlers. Thesubjects were picked up, transported and booked.
1-26-04 Report of possible theft from Hargreaves Hall. AnEZ-UP 10’x10′ tent was reported possibly stolensometime Jan. 17. The tent is white in color and was last seen inReese Court.
