3/9 11:35 p.m.An EWU student reported damage to his vehicle parked between Kingston Hall and Showalter Hall. Police arrived on the scene and found damage to the vehicle’s tire. The student was referred to Risk Management.
3/11 11:33 p.m.Police received a call reporting a man carrying furniture from one building to another on the 1100 block of Oakland Street. The suspect was cited with a warrant for malicious mischief in the second degree and transported to Spokane County Jail.
3/12 11:59 p.m.A male student broke a window behind Goofy’s bar. The student suffered a serious laceration on his wrist as a result and had to be transported to a medical center.
3/14 12:15 a.m.Officer stopped a male driver and arrested him for a D.U.I. The male was also in possession of under 40 grams of a controlled substance.
3/16 5:35 p.m.The URC reported a female student refusing to leave the rec center. The student was attempting to damage university property. Officers responded and the student is to be prosecuted for disorderly conduct.
3/17 10:00 p.m.A PUB employee reported an attempted theft of the Berlin Wall display on the first floor of the building. Fingerprints were taken, but the police have yet to identify a suspect.
3/22 10:42 p.m.A Townhouse apartments resident reported a home invasion and burglary. When police arrived on the scene, no suspects could be found. The investigation is continuing.
3/25 11:36 a.m.JFK Library staff found anti-homosexual graffiti in the men’s bathroom on the main floor. The investigation is pending.
3/25 7:42 p.m.A student’s bike, which was left unattended and unsecure on the 800 block of 4th Street, was stolen. The investigation is continuing.
3/28 2:09 p.m.Police responded to a car fire in Lot 14, just off of 11th Street. Electrical problems caused the fire. No injuries were reported.
4/1 11:11 a.m.Former Vice President Dick Cheney was spotted near Reid Elementary stealing candy from children as they fled in panic from his evil sneer. Campus police responded whereupon the suspect vanished in a swirling cloud of sulfur.
