5/10 5:45 p.m.- EWU Police helped Cheney Police respond to a call of a burglary in progress. Officers caught up to three of the five subjects spotted at the scene and questioned them. One male was arrested for outstanding warrants. Though none committed acts of burglary, all five were trespassing. 5/10 9:02 p.m.- A male student jumped onto a table near Swoop’s and cracked the end of it. Responding officers contacted the suspect who had to pay $75 for labor to fix the table. 5/11 1:55 p.m.- Two officers responded to Martin Hall to speak to a student who had found an unfired .22-caliber round on the floor. The student turned it in to the front desk after class, where the police confiscated the round and sent it to the EWU Police Department firearms range instructor to be destroyed. 5/12 1:05 a.m.- EWU officers assisted Cheney Police responding to domestic violence at an apartment on J Street. While handling the crime, they discovered that one of the persons involved was also in possession of marijuana. 5/13 6:32 p.m.- Eastern Police made contact with an intoxicated male at the MMA fight in the rec center. They cited the subject for MIP and referred them to OSRR. 5/14 9:28 a.m.- EWU Police responded to Kingston Hall from where they transported a sick female for medical attention. 5/15 2:09 a.m.- Officers at the Relay for Life event in Woodward Field spoke to a male who appeared intoxicated. The high school student was arrested for MIP and released. 5/15 8:07 p.m.- An EWU Police officer responded to a female’s residence concerning a stolen bike that she had left unsecured in front of the PUB. The officer and a cadet scoured the campus but were unable to locate the bicycle. The owner called the police again the following day, having found her bike returned and locked to a similar one in front of the PUB. After cutting the lock off, the officer returned the stolen bike and surveyed its counterpart to identify the owner but had no success.
