4/25 – A male reported that his backpack, which may have contained his wallet, had been stolen April 18 between 8 and 9 a.m. He wasn’t sure if the wallet was dropped, lost or stolen, but he did cancel all the cards within the wallet. The incident is under investigation.
4/26 5:26 p.m. – A Nissan Frontier with North City Motors dealer’s license plates on top of normal license plates was reported to police. After the incident was investigated and the owner was contacted, police found that the owner had failed to remove the dealer plate and that it was an unintentional oversight.
4/26 8:15 p.m. – Cadets on patrol in Dressler Hall noted marijuana odor and contacted police. Officers contacted those involved in the incident and issued a criminal citation and a referral to the OSRR.
4/27 9:59 a.m. – An employee in the psychology department left their laptop in the bathroom of Martin Hall. Another student employee found the laptop and brought it to the PUB lab to get tested. Once the tests were complete, it was returned to the owner.
4/28 12:46 p.m. – Police stopped a vehicle with two different license plates, one that was valid and another that was not. The officer found that the owner of the vehicle was an international student that purchased the car from a friend. Officers wrote an infraction for the student driving the vehicle.
4/30 5:47 p.m. – The light post in the center of the Campus Mall was knocked over. There are no suspects in the incident.
5/1 5:45 p.m. – A fire occurred in the kitchen of the president’s house. Cheney Fire Department responded to the situation. The cause and extent of the damage have not been determined at this time.
5/2 8:00 p.m. – Graffiti was noticed April 29 near the eastern stairwell near PUB room 261. Additional graffiti was found in the same area but reported later.
5/3 10:46 a.m. – A person in the URC noticed that their Blackberry Bold had been stolen after they left on a window ledge in the URC. They left it there at 9 a.m. and noticed it was gone at 10:46 a.m.
