Welcome to this special Valentine’s Day edition of “College Cuisine.” Now, I personally have never been a Valentine’s Day fanatic because in some ways it creates expectations for heart-filled actions of significant others that should be done on a regular basis.

Who of us are willing to sit or stand in a tanning bed for 15 minutes twice a week to obtain that golden tone? As a society we feed into the stigma of what perfection looks like.
“Do Gentlemen Really Prefer Blondes?” is the name of a recently released book written by Jena Pincott. But isn’t that the age-old question everyone wants to know? Her answer to the question is “yes”, although I personally have always preferred a redhead. In most cultures, men prefer blondes to other shades due to their rarity.
