Presidential candidates: Brody Faler Brody Faler is an education major who has held leadership positions before he came to EWU. “I’ve taken leadership roles throughout my career here at Eastern. I’ve grown to have a passion for it and I want to continue.” Faler has been on the Health and Fitness Advisory Board, was the vice president of recruitment for the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and has worked for two different cities, which he feels has shown him how governments work.
A bomb threat at the PHASE prompted a building sweep and resulted in closed off parking lots, parts of Washington Street and surrounding areas on Thursday afternoon (April 17). One of the maintenance workers saw a threatening note on the wall of the men’s locker room in the lower level of the PHASE indicating there was a car bomb in place.
The Student and Activities Fee committee proposed on Tuesday, Jan. 19, that an expenditure of $100,000 from the reserve budget of ASEWU be allocated to the clubs, organizations and programs on campus for the 2008-2009 school year. The proposal will be brought in front of the ASEWU Council during their Thursday meeting for approval.

Attempting to attract a more diverse audience of listeners, KEWU-FM, Eastern Washington University’s radio station, has created a new nightly program entitled Nightfall, which will run Mon-Thurs from 7-10p.m. and will differ from the usual format listeners are used to.
