The International Education Department held their first annual International Week from Monday, May 12, to Saturday, May 17. The week-long ceremony hosted several events to celebrate the different cultures around the world. The event started with the study-abroad-at-home orientation, where EWU students had the opportunity to choose from more than 40 classes that were offered to earn their one college credit.

The Eastern Washington Eagles beat the Idaho Vandals 3-1 at home in a non-conference matchup. The game was highlighted by key performance from the Eagles. Chrystal Johnson impressed the EWU fans by recording 19 digs and 13 kills. Mandy Daniels led the team with 22 digs, while Kerri Beck and Brittney Page each recorded 14 kills a piece.
