This whole situation with North Korea launching a rocket over Japanese airspace, and the ensuing international crisis at the U.N., I hate to say, has only increased my pessimism pertaining to the state of the world. Everywhere I look in this predicament it seems that we are dealing with one impotent loser after another, first starting with North Korea.
Call me sardonic, but I see too much drivel in the whole “green” movement. It doesn’t help that green is the color of jealousy, but when you turn something as somnolent-inducing as environmentalism into a fad, you can bet that I will be there showing my disdain and derision until it is swept into the garbage can of “what the hell were we thinking?” ideas.
When I heard of Chris Brown’s little incident involving his girlfriend Rihanna, a female music artist, I could do nothing but shrug with a lack of astonishment. I mean, really, what do we expect from celebrities today? I, for one, am the type of person who rolls his eyes whenever he hears lyrics about guys “loving you” and wanting to “be with you.
