I watched “Dragonball: Evolution” this weekend. I was actually pretty excited to see it. Unfortunately, it turned out to be awful and a total waste of time. For those not familiar with the story, the hero of this tale is Goku (Justin Chatwin), an awkward teenage boy who has been raised since infancy by his grandfather (Randall Duk Kim).
I know that the horrible events that happened at Virginia Tech are still on everyone’s mind. And when it comes to the V. Tech massacre, as pertaining to the blame game that’s happening right now, I think Jon Stewart said it best: “Doesn’t anyone want to reach on this?” One day we’re hearing that lax gun control was the real killer.
“God, this movie sucked,” my friend said to me as we left our seats after watching Spider-man 3. And he wasn’t wrong, either. The third (and most expensive) installment of the Spider-man franchise has the same characters, with the same love triangles, and the same bland villains (with the exception of Venom, who’s actually pretty cool).
