Who’s the event for?
This event is for high school seniors from diverse backgrounds who have an interest in attending EWU. Invited students received an invitation via email or phone from EWU. If you think you should have been invited, or if you can’t find an invitation in your email, contact Randy Corradine at firstname.lastname@example.org or 509.359.4879.
The program aims to empower and motivate multicultural and historically underrepresented student populations to excel in academics and social achievement.
How the Event Works
The event is arranged conference-style, meaning you can choose from multiple options and programs throughout the event. Guest speakers from around the region will be on hand, and you’ll have a chance to talk to peers and experts about your challenges and opportunities as a student and scholar.
In addition, EWU will work with you to prepare application and scholarship materials. You can also attend mock classes, take part in activities like laser tag or rock climbing, and explore residence halls, dining, clubs and organizations, and more.
The event begins at noon Friday and ends at 1 p.m. Sunday. Lodging and meals will be provided by EWU.
