Yes. A student may choose to either enroll fulltime at EWU (up to 15 credits) or part-time, with the rest of the classes taken at the high school.
Yes. Your EWU grades are recorded on both your high school and permanent college transcript.
Each school district determines equivalencies for their students.
Running Start students work with their advisor to ensure that high school graduation requirements are met while earning college credit. A Running Start student can take elective courses as long as their high school requirements are met by their graduation date. Some EWU courses require that prerequisites have been met.
Yes. Students must meet their school district’s qualifications for a high school diploma.
No. The student simply needs to meet eligibility requirements.
No. You would still apply as a regular incoming freshman to be eligible for freshman financial aid and scholarships.
Yes. With the exception of NCAA sports, Running Start students may participate in activities on the university campus.
