Leave and Time Off

Eastern Washington University provides eligible employees with leave for a variety of reasons. Some of the time off including vacation, holiday and personal, are offered solely at the discretion of the University. Other leaves including FMLA, PFML, and military leave are subject to federal and state law and are described below based on the University’s understanding of applicable laws. Should information presented here conflict with the law or collective bargaining provisions or binding past practices for represented employees, the latter will prevail. For more details you are encouraged to consult the applicable union contract or policy.
