If you have TV monitors that can display digital signage, you can become a content manager. You can choose the look and feel of your signage, and control the content that is displayed.
Requesting digital signage
Create a Help Desk ticket and request digital signage for your location.
IT will contact you about assessing your equipment and infrastructure to make sure it can support digital signage.
Note: if you do not have the equipment required to support digital signage, you must make a request to your department to purchase the equipment.
- A monitor
- A digital media player
- An ethernet cable and plugin
- A power source
After digital signage is installed at your location, an IT professional will get you started in AppSpace, our digital signage application. We will work with you to establish the look and feel of your signs.
Once signage is established in your location, people may submit content to be displayed on your signage using the Digital Signage Request form. Submitted content will usually be EWU-related advertisements or events.
As the content administrator, you have control over what your signs display. You will be alerted of requests by email, which will include the image file. You can approve or deny requests.
