Meter parking is the primary visitor parking on and around campus. Meters can be paid to the maximum meter limit. Guests, visitors, salesperson, serviceperson, vendor representatives and others doing business with the University may be issued visitor permits allowing them to park in designated lots on campus. A fee may be charged. (1) Parking on the campus will not be provided to persons intending to make personal solicitations from or personal sales to University employees or students. (2) Visitor permits shall not allow the user to park in reserved, disabled spaces or stalls. Parking permits may be purchased at Parking Services, 101 Tawanka Hall. Office hours are 8 a.m.- 4:45p.m. Monday-Friday.
Disabled Persons Parking on Campus
Disabled persons parking on the EWU campus are required to purchase an EWU permit or pay the meter for the duration of time that they are parked there. Disabled spaces shall be available in parking lots. Persons wishing to utilize disabled parking spaces must possess a valid Washington state disabled license plate or placard to qualify for an EWU disabled permit. To purchase a EWU disability permit you must bring in your placard ID card before we can sell you one.
They must register at the time the parking permit is issued. The meters on the city streets only allow you to use your state-issued hanging placard without having to pay the meter.
