Gina Mikel Petrie for EWUGlobal

Dr. Gina Petrie
Director of Global Student Services

Pronouns: she/her

Gina is an experienced international educator and English as a Second Language professor. She manages all international student recruitment and admissions, international partnerships, campus internationalization and oversees international student services. Gina helps support study abroad and is the CHEPD 1+2+1 exchange senior administrator.

Gina loves spending time with her family and her two dogs. In the summer, she enjoys swimming at the lake and watching wildlife. The rest of the year you can find her reading—especially non-fiction—and researching her family's history.

Kristina Guilfoyle
Director of Global Academic Programs and AUAP
DSO/ARO
Pronouns: she/her

Kristina serves as the Faculty Director for all of EWU Global's short-term programs, study abroad, the National Student Exchange, the English Language Institute, and the Asia University America Program.

Kristina loves to travel, has been to over twelve different countries, and lived in Japan for five years. She loves Japanese ramen, Marvel movies, and cuddling with her animals.

Kimi Fukuyama

International Student Advisor/SEVIS Coordinator

Kimi is the International Student Advisor and SEVIS coordinator. She manages international admissions and supports international students through the immigration process.
When she is not at work, Kimi loves to travel, going to concerts and visiting her family back home in Hawaii.

Morganne Elkins

Study Abroad Advisor

Morganne Elkins works in the Global Studies office as the Study Abroad Advisor. She helps students find study abroad programs across the globe and assists them during the application process.  Interested in spending a semester, summer or even full academic year abroad?  Stop by her office to find out more!

Morganne received her undergraduate degree in Fine Art Painting and Photography. She has spent the past few years living in Budapest where she painted and taught English as a Second Language. Before her time in Hungary, she also lived and worked in Scotland and Switzerland. Morganne moved to Spokane to pursue a graduate degree in creative writing, and she looks forward to traveling around the PNW! She loves cooking, printmaking, and a good cup of chai.
