GRE Prep Course Now Available!
Taught by Julia Smith, Ph.D., the GRE Prep Course is designed to help individuals prepare and study for the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE). The GRE is a requirement for many graduate study programs throughout the United States. The course is available to community members as well as EWU students and alumni.

Community Members: $175

1. What does the prep course curriculum look like?
In the prep course, we discuss the types of questions asked in each test section, the type of material covered in each test section, test-taking and study tips, and strategies for success. We also complete practice questions and test segments.
2. Will I receive college credit for the prep course?
No. Because the course is only nine hours long, college credit cannot be offered.
3. Will this course be offered again?
Yes, we are planning future sessions for each quarter.
4. How do I know if I need to take the GRE?
Check with the graduate programs to which you'll be applying. Some programs list application requirements on their websites, while others may require you to submit a request for information.
5. How do I register to take the GRE?
Visit the ETS GRE website and follow the steps provided.
